Recovery and Delivery

Our company operates with an established fleet of recovery vehicles able to cover any transport problem. With the aid of specialised communication equipment, we are able to provide an efficient recovery and delivery service throughout the United Kingdom including the Isle of Man. We are equally pleased to be able to offer a full vehicle recovery service in Europe.

Licensed Locations

The business has four site locations, each is a contributor to the overall service programme. Providing secure storage, vehicle damage assessment with optional video technology, dismantling facilities in accordance with current legislation and final disposal according to the present Association of British insurer classification. Each of the sites are fully licensed and conform to all regulations which are set out in the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (EPA).

Fleet of Vehicles

All of the vehicles which are operated are modern, reliable and well maintained to conform to the standards set by present legislation. The vehicles within our fleet have the ability to lift and transport between one and six cars or motorcycles including special equipment to recover heavy plant and commercial vehicles.

Storage Facilities

T L Harvey is able to offer free storage facilities in most cases or will agree beforehand firm costs in special situations of high security or non-standard storage.

Trained Staff

As part of a development programme for the business, the company continues to invest in its workforce. We have well-established training and development methods in operation and at all times seek to maintain a highly trained and skilled workforce across all disciplines.

Working in Harmony with the Environment

In recent history there was no owner responsibility for the 'end life' vehicle (ELV) disposal. Therefore more often than not the local authority in which a vehicle resided assumed any such responsibility. The government is coming under increasing pressure to lay the responsibility for the 'end of life' vehicle at the feet of the owner, operator or manufacturer.

Ever ready to meet the changing requirements of legislation, TL Harvey have invested heavily in the development of facilities and methods for the lawful disposal and recycling of the 'end of life' vehicle and its contents. In 1995 TL Harvey became a founder member of the Consortium for Automotive Recycling (CARE), working alongside vehicle manufacturers and environmental agencies to raise the standards in the area of ELV disosal.
